COPYRIGHTED MUSIC

• If you DO intend to use copyrighted music, check if your desired music is under our blanket license:

  • Go to https://repertoire.bmi.com/

  • Search for the piece of music, selecting the "Songview" option.  In the results, make sure that you look for the specific version of the recording or arrangement you intend to use.

  • If the piece of music appears in the results, it is part of our blanket license; simply email us the name(s) and BMI Work IDs of the songs you intend to use.

    If the piece of music does NOT appear in the results, it is NOT part of our blanket license.  You must select other options that are in the BMI database, or you must obtain permissions/licenses on your own.  We are not able to assist with this process.
