Art Contest Grand Prize Airfare Restrictions

Airfare restrictions include, but are not limited to, the following:

ANA Tickets Terms and Conditions

  1. ANA Tickets Prize: 1 (one) single pair of Economy Class round-trip tickets on All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (“ANA”) between New York and Tokyo (“ANA Tickets”).

  2. Eligible Flights: Flights must be NH operated and marketed and routed as New York John F. Kennedy InternationalAirport (JFK) to Tokyo Haneda (HND) or Narita (NRT) Airports only. (subject to schedule change) Codeshare flights are not eligible.

  3. Reservations: Space is limited and ANA requests that the Winner books well in advance to obtain the best availability options.

  4. Winner and companion, if any, must travel together on all flights, and in the same cabin. When the prize is a pair of tickets and the Winner travels solo, the companion ticket cannot be used and is forfeited at the time of Winner’s ticket issuance. If winner’s companion is a minor, the minor must be accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian.

  5. Ticketing: Tickets must be issued no later than 14 days prior to departure once seats are confirmed.

  6. Minimum stay is 1 (one) day and the maximum stay is 3 (three) months from ticket issuance date or the expiration date on the official prize letter, whichever is earlier. Once ticketed, ticket and travel extensions are not permitted.

  7. Winner is responsible for all travel costs associated with using the ANA Tickets (except cost of the tickets), including, but not limited to, transportation costs to/from the JFK International Airport, and all costs incurred while traveling in Japan.

  8. Departure taxes, inspection fees and airport taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner and must be paid in USD by credit card at time of ticket issuance.

  9. Seat confirmation is subject to availability and neither upgrade nor mileage credit is permitted.

  10. Blackout dates may apply.

  11. Travel award tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-endorsable and may only be used by the person(s) to whom they are awarded. Changes are not permitted once an award ticket is issued.

  12. Travel awards that are sold, bartered or altered are automatically void.

  13. Travel awards offered have no cash value, other than the fees paid once ticketed. If tickets are lost, stolen or expire prior to use (unless restricted by law), they will be forfeited.

  14. Identification is required at the time of travel. The winner is solely responsible for compliance with all required visa, immigration and customs requirements for travel to and from Japan. No refunds or rescheduling will be made if improper documentation or failure to comply with all rules and regulations of the travel provider results in denying boarding or entry.

  15. All tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variations, work stoppage and schedule or route changes.

  16. Winner must comply with all ANA requests for documents (including signed documents) related to issuing the ANA Tickets within the deadlines set by ANA, including but not limited to a signed W-9 form if applicable. ANA will not be responsible for any requests or correspondence delayed, lost or not received by either winner or ANA.

By submitting an entry, applicants acknowledge and agree to all contest rules and prize restrictions.
